Content is King

Whilst it has taken many years for us to have developed the hypertext systems we have today, it must be remembered why hypertext was developed in the first place - to allow better storage and retrieval of information. The information was always the important part of the objective - the information is there, how can we make better use of it?

Presumably you came to this web site (which is a hypertext) to discover something about the history of hypertext - nice graphics and lots of technical innovations may spice up the experience, but it is the information, the story of hypertext that you need - the rest is nice but not necessary. If the information is useful to you, you will come back because of that
